  Saliva testing is appropriate at any time to get a snapshot of what is happening at that moment. However, our pharmacists can guide you to the BEST time to do testing for your situation. Most patients do NOT need baseline testing prior to a consultation for hormone therapy.
  If your therapy is not progessing as expected or you have confusing symptoms (that could be caused by more than one hormone imbalance), saliva testing is integral to getting you back on track. Testing is also a very good idea when you feel great!
